What kind of domain is a “domain asset” to be monitored?

A domain asset is added to the system as a top level registered domain. e.g. "domain.com" for this domain the DI system will scan for and identify all sub domains e.g. "portal.domain.com". This will be charged as one domain asset. These sub domains can be added in the edit asset view.
